Two More Hires At BNY Mellon Wealth Management In Massachusetts, New Jersey

Staff rosters are ever-increasing at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where two appointments have been made on the US East Coast.

In Boston, MA, Nancy Brickley - latterly of Highmount Capital - will serve as senior director for business development. Daniel Scavone, previously with JP Morgan Private Bank, has been named regional managing director in New Jersey and plans to recruit more staff.

“We have openings for a number of portfolio managers and development professionals in New Jersey. Those positions are part of BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s goal to grow its sales staff by 50 percent while also adding private bankers and portfolio managers,” said Scavone in a statement.

The company aims to grow in New Jersey as it “represents a major portion of the greater New York wealth market”, said Doris Meister, president for US Markets in New York Tri-State. She added that Scavone will oversee the opening of additional locations in the state as well as at least doubling their advisor group.

The moves follow a recent spate of appointments by the firm, including a branch opening in San Diego, CA, yesterday, as well as three senior staff hired in Chicago, IL .
